I’m in NJ this weekend to celebrate my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary. I think it’s pretty amazing since anymore due to divorce rates, I’ve found I’m the exception to a lot of my friends’ families as having parents who have managed to stay dedicated to one another for so long.
We were able to get the entire immediate family together for a family portrait on the beach. I hope they turn out to be great photos!
I can’t believe I’m even awake. just got in after spending one last day in NJ, having Shawn’s birthday dinner with the family, and then leaving around 7pm to drive to Delaware (on my way back to Arlington) to see my great friends, The Bigger Lovers. Their new cd is out in a week or so and it’s great. thankfully it helped to keep me awake for the drive home after their set. I left Delaware at 1am and got home just before 3am. it was rough, but totally worth it.
gotta leave for work in 5 hours….yuck.
