it’s a crisp clear night
you can see a million stars
and
a brilliant (almost) full moon.

“on a promise”
how have I possibly survived the last year without Nic Armstrong?!
I’m smitten! go here
being a ‘street team’ member ROCKS! FREE music ROCKS!
and my decision to stick around the homefront tonight was totally the way to go, how else would I be shimmyin’ and dancin’ about the house?!
I hope this year is better than the past few. I am really starting to believe that New Year’s Eve is one of the most overrated holidays, that and maybe Valentine’s Day…….bleh!
at any rate, I’m going to take my 11-year-old nephew, Shawn’s infinite wisdom of: ‘I don’t know what the big deal is, it’s just another night and just another day. We go to sleep and wake up just the same, all we gotta do is change the date just like every other day.’
Since I spent the beginning of 2005 hanging with him, playing WAR, and UNO, watching him play Halo on Xbox online (so way cool), and hitting a hockey game that the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies won 3-0…
I’m thinking he may have the best advice in dealing with the whole hoopla of NYE.
I’m sharing my elation of the return of my magical pink coat.
I finally let her go so some repairs could be made and she’s more lovely than ever! I once again have pockets and a liner that’s not ripped. thrift store coats rock and t his is definitely the best coat ever!
but only because I have to work a few days.
Christmas was hectic and I decided to relive my childhood by doing what i did best at Christmas: be sick. it’s so much easier to vomit when you’re drunk or hungover, because you know exactly why it’s happening. getting sick when you’re not sure why, simply sucks. needless to say, a bunch o’ people didn’t get a holiday visit from me.
Things I DID enjoy from the long weekend: getting to see the entire family, with the exception of my Great Aunt Vi who was homebound probably with the same illness I ended up with. All the kids have grown and are so fun to be around and are adorable of course.
I also have come to the realization that the more times I go home to jersey or philly, the more I miss being there.
here’s hoping I can eat more than toast tomorrow.
